Flautas plate was definitely different in appearance, but it was crispy and delicious. Chips and salsa were great, and I couldn't pass up the bottled root beer. The servers were friendly and attentive, even though they were very busy.
This place is SO good! The menu is simple, not over cluttered, and super reasonably priced! Their drinks are also an insanely good deal (highly reccomend the pina colada). The food is just absolutely fire.
Jackie was great! Friendly and helpful for a couple of out of towners looking for a great meal. We tend to want to be off the Main Street and fine great local food when traveling and this place did not disappoint. Al Pastor was AMAZING! Grilled Chicken wet burrito with verde sauce top notch!! Can’t wait to travel thru again and make another stop at Los Gallitos..... great staff ambiance and food.
The food was presented very nicely. It did not take long to come out, in the middle of lunch rush. there's usually only one bartender so if you slam him with 20 Margaritas it might take a moment for that to come out. Otherwise the place is clean and the staff is friendly. Enjoy the chips and salsa!
Best Mexican food we ever had. Recommend beef tongue taco and shrimp quesadilla. Cleanness seems to be an issue. One of our pants got stuck by a gum put under the table by previous customers.
The two pork verde enchiladas were delicious. Nice ambience, very affordable Mexican food. Was pleasantly surprised. ... went two nights in a row, it’s a great find.
Wow, and I mean WOW. When did Fort Bragg become heaven? I woke up to a "Yelp Elite" friend calling me asking me "if I would like to head down to Los Gallitos Mexican Restaurant for a quick lunch, and a drink or 2 to wash it down. I couldn't find any reason why not to head down to this "local" favorite. First off, the establishment is beyond clean, and the people working were more than friendly. Second: The food here was excellent, I went with the boneless wings (come in 5 different flavors), and queso-tacos. The queso-tacos were some, if not the best I have had in my life. I recommend that plate to anyone that is wanting to try something delicious. My friend who is a quote "food expert", but in my mind might be a better judge of drinks, and a good time really enjoyed himself and his "boneless" wings they put on the menu for him. My final word on this place is give it a try, and see what locals and tourists from near and far away rave about. Tell them " The Pudding Creek Trestle" sent you. Enjoy your Wednesday, and remember to Visit Noyo Harbor when done with this great restaurant. PS. The ladies working there are pretty nice on the eyes and well worth a drink, or two to admire them. #thepuddingcreektrestle #foodielife #fortbragg #mexicanfood #onlyfans My Home Is Fort Bragg California #onlyinfortbragg Only in Fort Bragg #onlyinmendocino Only in Mendocino #vivaLosG Ron's Restaurant Reviews
Our new go-to Mexican restaurant on the coast. I've been going to Ft Bragg since I was a kid, and we used to go to the Purple Rose. Now, it's Los Gallitos. This time I had the special, shrimp enchiladas in green sauce. The shrimp were fresh, and the sauce was out of this world. I was spooing it onto my husband's food. The chips and salsa were a little less impressive, but they were slammed and it's winter. Overall, I love this place. So much so I thought twice about posting it bc the bay area people will probably swarm it and I want to be able to eat there again.
